Hi, I’m Samalia Swan🪷
For over five years, I’ve been traveling the world with nothing but a sketchbook and a pen—capturing people, cultures, and fleeting moments as they unfold. My art is vibrant, honest, and deeply human—just like life itself. Along the way, I’ve inspired thousands through my drawings, videos, and small acts of kindness. I’ve sketched portraits of strangers in markets, on trains, in quiet corners of unfamiliar cities—and gifted those drawings as little moments of connection. Each one a reminder that art can speak directly to the heart.
In April 2024, something shifted. While sketching an elderly woman at a night market on a small island in Thailand, I felt a deep call to do more. That moment became the seed of something bigger: a new chapter dedicated to giving back. I’m now launching a Charity Fund for the Elderly, built around the same values my art is rooted in—empathy, connection, and humanity. Whether through donating, volunteering, or even joining the team, there are so many ways to be a part of this journey.
More than anything, I want to help you create art that resonates—with your soul and with the world.

The course has 12 modules for 5 hours of learning and practicing. This course is perfect for both beginners and experienced artists. You’ll start with the basics of drawing—perspective, proportions, volume, light & shadow, and hatching techniques. Then, we’ll dive into sketching with pen, helping you trust your hand and draw confidently. You'll learn how to capture emotion in your sketches, turning simple lines into powerful stories. We’ll also cover sketching on the go, so you can create quick, impactful sketches anywhere. Plus, I’ll guide you through developing your own style and offer practical tips to make sketching easier, from choosing the right pen to sketching discreetly in public.
You can pause and replay the videos as much as you want. The course is suitable for everyone, teens, adults and children because there is no explicit content. It would be best to take the course in order, because it will start from the basics to lessons at a more advanced level.
